Call the studio on 01625 536526 or contact us and we'll call you straight back. Our studio diary is usually open for bookings three to four weeks in advance.
How long will my session take?
A standard studio session takes one hour including the time spent planning the session with the photographer beforehand and running through the product options afterwards. The viewing session, which usually takes place about a week later, also takes around an hour.
Our natural and relaxed style of photography works best when you feel really comfortable in what you wear, so don't dress too formally. Colourful but relatively plain clothes work well. By all means bring along a change of clothing as we have full changing facilities.
What can I bring along to the session?
We think it's great when you bring along personal items to the session to make your images even more memorable. Think sports equipment, musical instruments or even your pets. We have a 9 metre wide studio on the ground floor, so access for large items is excellent, but please let us know in advance if you plan to bring anything which is tricky to fit through a standard doorway.
About a week after your studio session, we invite you back to view the best 30 to 40 images, dramatically projected in one of our intimate viewing theatres. We try, where possible, for your photographer to conduct this viewing to keep the whole experience as personal as possible for you. Your photographer will help you choose not just the right images but also the sizes and product styles to suit each image and your home.
That depends on you. We have a range of more than 50 products from £60 going up to £1995 and, although there is no obligation to buy anything, most of our customers spend an average of around £500. To help you out with costs we often run promotional offers, so check out our latest offers page.
We accept cash, cheque and all major credit/debit cards. We also have credit plans available (subject to status) for purchases over £500 to help you spread the cost.
You can download a map and directions on the contact us page.
What facilities do you have for my young children?
We love to welcome kids at era studios; they make some of our best images. We provide full baby changing facilities in the toilets and have a range of toys to keep them happy at all times.
Our studio and viewing rooms are all on the ground floor and there is a disabled toilet facility.
What if we can't attend our session?
Our studio is busy and so time in it is valuable. As a result we do reserve the right to charge a £20 cancellation fee if you fail to attend your appointment with less than five days notice. If you do have to cancel, please call us as soon as possible at least five days before and we will be happy to rearrange for you.
We know it can be difficult to get the whole family together so we've made our opening hours as family friendly as possible. We are open seven days a week, including evenings from Monday to Thursday. Monday to Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Will your photographer come to my home or other location?
Our style of photography works best in our large, well lit studio so we do not offer sessions at other locations. We also feel that by coming to our dramatic studio and gallery for your session, and possibly combining this with a meal in one of the many local restaurants, the whole experience will be a very memorable one for you.
