How long will my session take?
The Photographer will have an informal chat with you before your shoot to enable him to get ‘the feel of your family’.
Moving on into the studio this will then enable your photographer to maximise the time during your shoot effectively.
A studio session takes about one hour with the photographer beforehand and running through the product options afterwards. The viewing session, which usually takes place about a week later, also takes around an hour.
Our natural and relaxed style of photography works best when you feel really comfortable in what you wear, so don’t dress too formally. Colourful clothes work really well and bring along any bright scarves, hats, outdoor clothing, furry hoods or shawls even sunglasses can add a funky feel to the photographs. Your photographer will work with you to select the items they feel will work best in your shoot. Don”t worry about changing we have a private changing room within the studio.
What can I bring along to the session?
We have a 9 metre wide studio on the ground floor, so access for large items is excellent, but please let us know in advance if you plan to bring anything which is tricky to fit through a standard doorway.
We think it’s great when you bring along personal items to the session to make your images even more memorable. Think football kits, guitars, snow gear, mobile phones, ipods, toys, bikes let your imagination lead the way to a fantastic shoot.
About a week later you will be invited back to view your session projected in our specialised viewing room. To keep your session personal your photographer will have designed a fantastic slideshow for you including black white and colour mix images shown alongside examples of our compilation products and design pieces.
The Era product range is extensive and starts from tabletop images from £60 to our bespoke Acrylic range which are designed and priced individually. We run monthly special offers and promotions which are detailed on our offers page.
We accept cash, cheque and all major credit/debit cards. We also have credit plans available (subject to status) for purchases over £500 to help you spread the cost.

What facilities do you have for my young children?
We love to welcome kids at era studios; they make some of our best images. We provide full baby changing facilities in the toilets and have a range of toys to keep them happy at all times.
Our studio and viewing rooms are all on the ground floor and there is a disabled toilet facility.
What if we can't attend our session?
Our studio is busy and so time in it is valuable. As a result we do reserve the right to charge a £20 cancellation fee if you fail to attend your appointment with less than five days notice. If you do have to cancel, please call us as soon as possible at least five days before and we will be happy to rearrange for you.
We know it can be difficult to get the whole family together so we’ve made our opening hours as family friendly as possible. We are open six days a week, Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 8pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am to 6pm.
Will your photographer come to my home or other location?
Yes definitely we offer location and at home shoots ideal for families wishing to include larger family pets such as horses and include hobbies and pastimes such as fishing, sailing, shooting etc. Please contact us and we will discuss your requirements individually.
